                                                                         After an interesting, fascinating professional career, but also stressful, because spent in the Paris area for the greater part, I still remember the pleasure  I had to wake up on Saturday mornings in my house, in this peace and quiet place which surrounded me.

I forgot the 10 hours train travel I did every weekend to join my children who, for nothing in the world, would have left their beloved Périgord. With a little luck, in the morning, we could see one or two roe deer's coming to drink in the puddle near the house, or wild ducks to cavort there. Other times, a deer watched its hind and its fawn which feasted on apples of the old apple tree at the bottom of the field, laughing at barkings of the dog.

On Sunday afternoons, for a well arrived siesta, silence was only disturbed by some birds singing in the wood around.

Fired at 59-year-old for physical inaptitude, I tried to find how to complete unemployment allocations, in order to keep this haven of peace so important for the family. Suddenly, I remember of those moments I spent here, so far from the city noises and jams and then thought to open my house to people who, like it was for me, need to rest among nature for some time.

There is also this area which I like so much, Périgord, where people are so kind, where houses are so pleasant with their so warmed colored stones, with those so particular roofs, those so picturesque villages such as Limeuil or La Roque Gageac, its castles, its caves, its wines and its gastronomy….

I would like you to discover all this beauty, and if, one evening, you wish to go out together, as experimented grandmother, I will keep with pleasure your children.

I will welcome you with a great pleasure in the lounge and you will lend if necessary books, DVD and inside games for you and your children if the weather is not nice.  

There are numbers of good restaurants and host tables in our area, but if you wish, you can have access, with a light additional cost, to all necessary to prepare meals  to be taken under the veranda or terrace.

A refrigerator and a special cupboard will be at your entire and own disposal in order to keep the food you would buy.

For your picnic, we will lend you baskets with all necessary household items (dishes, glasses,  cutlery..)

You will have also the possibility to make barbecue parties on the terrace
